The role involves the following:

• Designing, implementing, testing, and deploying offline object detection, tracking, and fusion modules.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in AI and machine learning for autonomous driving.
• Independently developing offline perception models or algorithms using disciplined software development processes.

The role also includes:

• Defining and implementing the ingestion, preparation, curation, and governance of large multidimensional datasets.
• Evaluating current capabilities to identify areas for improvement and proposing solutions aligned with strategy and operations.
• Measuring and tracking the quality of automatic labeling to meet internal customer requirements.

Finally:

• Evaluating and making recommendations regarding technical advances that improve productivity and quality.
• Developing guidelines and standards for analysis and machine learning models, their deployment, and associated processes.
• Providing technical advice or expertise in business processes, technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
