Job Description
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience building, automating and fixing formatting operating large-scale systems. You will be part of an exceptional team of individuals spread across the globe, working on the most challenging technical problems in EdTech, helping to build systems, tools, and platforms on which Turnitin’s infrastructure and applications are deployed and operated. Responsibilities include collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Support teams; contributing to architectural design and implementation; writing readable, testable, maintainable & documented code for infrastructure and configuration management; implementing secure, resilient architectures; supporting hybrid environments; ensuring system fault-tolerance and high availability; and documenting systems, processes, and decisions. Qualifications include hands-on experience with AWS Serverless technologies, proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, strong knowledge of containerization, comfort with configuration management tools, and skills in scripting languages.
