Academic Coach

Responsibilities:

• Providing virtual academic assistance to students in synchronous and asynchronous sessions.
• Assisting students in developing strong written communication skills and academic voice.
• Identifying student's unique learning strengths and creating individual academic support plans.

Requirements:

• Master's degree required, doctoral preferred, along with 1-3 years of relevant coaching or tutoring experience.
• Demonstrated success working with adult students in higher education.
• Proficiency in technology and experience in online learning environment is required.

Skills:

• Knowledge of adult learning theories, cognitive load theories, and APA style guidelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to establish online rapport and maintain a friendly and patient attitude.
