About the role:
- Focuses on reviewing statutory financial statements and working papers for BS&O engagements to ensure accuracy and technical compliance.
- Ensures outputs are ready for onshore teams and client meetings, supporting a range of client types from owner-managed businesses to growing groups.
About the day to day:
- Reviews financial statements under FRS 102/FRS 102 1A and checks supporting working papers for completeness and clarity.
- Ensures balances are reconciled, disclosures are accurate, and provides feedback to preparers for continuous improvement.
- Identifies recurring issues to improve templates and processes, working proactively with Accounts Pod and onshore teams.
About you:
- Requires a CA (SA) qualification and minimum 3 years' accounting experience with strong technical knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102.
- Must be proficient in drafting financial statements in Caseware and have experience in financial statement preparation and review.
- Desirable skills include management accounting experience, knowledge of UK tax, and experience working with remote or international teams.
