This is a unique "builder-operator" role that involves owning the product strategy for reconciliation and leading the operations team that performs the daily reconciliation function. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the balance sheet and P&L, while simultaneously defining the product roadmap to automate their work. Success will be measured by the ability to maintain impeccable financial integrity and operational control today, while building a scalable, automated platform.

This is a great time to join Remote as a Payroll Specialist Lead within our Global Payroll Operations Team. You will act as a subject matter expert for South Africa, manage stakeholder relationships, process full end-to-end payroll, ensure data integrity, focus on KPIs, implement process improvements, and mentor payroll specialists.

Support two small businesses by getting finances organized, setting up simple, reliable systems, and keeping books current. You’ll help transition tools if needed, establish repeatable workflows, and ensure the founder has clear visibility into cash flow, expenses, and subscriptions.
