As Ably continues to scale, the company is expanding its small but dynamic Finance team by hiring a talented and proactive Finance Assistant. The role involves taking ownership of the bookkeeping function, working closely with the Finance Manager, Senior Financial Analyst and VP of Finance. The person in this role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial reports, ongoing control activities, and optimizing processes to help the Finance function scale efficiently.

Reviews the correctness and completeness of weekly and monthly work prepared by the Associate Accountant. Ensures all responsibilities are done diligently, performs initial and final reviews of management reports, and provides accounting and technical support. Handles new tasks, client onboarding, and maintenance of accounting work papers, while also aiding in process improvements and team management.

Responsible for maintaining complete & clean records of all projects in Xero, coordinating with Project Managers on budget estimates and revenue recognition. Prepares customer invoices, monitors customer aging reports, and liaises with customers on billing and collection matters.
