Job Description
We are looking for a Principal Engineer to lead the design and development of complex data-driven systems, focusing on backend and data infrastructure. As the company grows, this engineer will mentor others, lead projects, and help shape a high-performing engineering team. This role involves architecting and building core backend systems, owning end-to-end data flows (ingestion, transformation, storage, querying), and collaborating with product and data science teams to shape solutions. The engineer will optimize for performance, scale, and developer experience, write maintainable code with strong interfaces and testing, and set and promote high technical standards.
