Job Description

We are looking for technical Material Artists with game development experience to join our architecture visualization team and help create high quality environment art assets and scenes. Candidates should have an exceptional understanding of form, shape, structure, color, detail, and silhouette in regard to modeling and texturing along with experience developing and editing procedural and system based materials. They are the types of artists that prefer Substance Designer instead of Painter and have a strong working knowledge of procedural material systems and a passion for authoring technically creative and systematic solutions. The Artist we are looking for has a strong sense of curiosity and internal drive to learn and master our internal proprietary procedural material system and libraries. Responsibilities include creating and refining detailed photo-realistic and representational materials, organizing material based projects, creating benchmark art assets and best practices guides, and improving environment art pipelines. This role requires 3+ years of experience, expert knowledge of PBR based realistic texture/material pipelines and toolsets, and a passion for interior and architectural design.
