Responsibilities:
- Submitting medical claims to insurance companies.
- Checking eligibility and benefits verification for healthcare services.
- Identifying and billing secondary or tertiary insurances.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a medical biller.
- Strong customer service experience and skills.
- Must have strong A/R collections experience.
Additional Skills:
- Posts and reconciles payments to patient ledgers.
- Prepares information for the collection agency.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
