Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer

About the Role:

• We're hiring a Senior MLOps Engineer to join the Data Science team, owning production systems for grocery recommendations and box personalization.
• The platform combines Python services, FastAPI on AWS, Spark on Databricks, and ML models feeding a real-time decisioning engine.
• You'll partner with data scientists and product engineers to build reliable, extensible systems for model-driven personalization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Improve reliability, performance, and observability of production ML and optimization systems.
• Build clean interfaces for safe model integration, including experimentation and feature-flag tooling.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in MLOps, ML engineering, or DevOps with a focus on production ML infrastructure.
• Strong Python and SQL; experience with FastAPI, Databricks, Spark, MLflow, and CI/CD.
• Solid AWS fundamentals and experience with production observability.
