The part-time Patient Billing Specialist role is responsible for resolving claim-related payment issues at Valera. This role will manage the company's outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment collection by monitoring accounts, processing incoming payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records to support the organization's financial health. Responsibilities include reviewing claims, exhibiting patient service skills, providing prompt responses, outreach to payers and patients, documenting issues, and tracking information requests. The candidate should be able to achieve goals set by supervisor regarding error-free work, transactions, processes, and compliance requirements.
