Senior QA Analyst (Frontend)

Role Overview:

• Own quality assurance across the frontend-to-middleware boundary of a multi-step web onboarding workflow.
• Design exploratory test strategies and convert observed frontend behavior into a validated state model/FSM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply boundary testing and equivalence partitioning to design high-coverage test cases across valid, invalid, and edge-case inputs.
• Validate application behavior against defined state models and lead defect triage sessions.
• Formalize and maintain the onboarding FSM, documenting decision forks, state dependencies, and persona variations.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of QA experience with frontend and middleware testing.
• Strong expertise in exploratory testing, equivalence partitioning, and state-machine validation.
• Effective communicator capable of guiding triage discussions and mentoring peers.

Project Details:

• Rate: $6/hr, 40 hours per week, duration 4 weeks.
• Remote from India, freelance role with possible full-time employment.
