Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct coding audits across specialties, reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and payer rules to audit findings, citing authoritative references.
- Support corrective action and education, communicating findings constructively.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of medical coding experience and active credential (CPC, CCS, CIC); CPMA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, attention to detail, and effective written communication.
