Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET) - Apps

Role Overview:

• Combine passion for problem solving, software development, and geographic awareness to build high-quality commercial software.
• Work involves improving product quality by writing and executing automated tests, collaborating with developers, and contributing to test frameworks.
• Focus on Esri’s mobile and web applications like Field Maps and Navigator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Engineers to establish test plans and identify gaps in manual and automated testing.
• Work closely with Software Development Engineers to improve software quality by writing and executing automated tests.
• Create and maintain automated tests for functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with object-oriented programming and experience in Swift or Kotlin.
• Applied knowledge of testing principles and experience with test automation frameworks like XCTest, XCUITest, UiAutomator, or Appium.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or related field.
