Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the software production pipeline and ensure all deadlines for technical animation tasks are met.
- Create high-quality rigging and skinning for characters, creatures, and props that are technically suitable for the project.
- Work closely with modelers, animators, and leads to ensure a smooth pipeline and high-quality asset delivery.
Technical Implementation:
- Autonomously implement characters in Unreal Engine, handling cloth, physics, and blueprint setups.
- Provide clean, optimized assets and code within established project systems and technical requirements.
- Contribute to pipeline tool development and propose continuous improvements through R&D initiatives.
Collaboration & Support:
- Mentor team members and maintain a strong understanding of inter-departmental dependencies and collaboration needs.
- Occasionally support the Lead with recruitment projects and the onboarding process for new hires.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to provide clear technical feedback on tasks, rigs, and toolsets.
