Job Description
Lead a team of engineers through our shared vision for Tech at Fresh Prints, defining and executing the most technical aspects of an AI-first Tech team and building an engineering culture that embraces AI. Partner with other leadership to ensure the AI-first versions of Product, Design, and Engineering work well together, transforming the engineering team to execute on this vision. Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, acting as a hands-on teacher committed to developing a team of confident engineers, performance managing them to deliver high-quality tech on time.
Architect for speed, scale, and stability, setting and upholding high standards for code quality, system design, observability, and security without slowing down iteration and innovation. Establish and maintain technical governance, ensuring our codebase remains performant, maintainable, and secure. As a problem solver and coach, actively pair program to overcome the hardest roadblocks, reviewing code to improve approaches and helping each engineer grow into a world-class talent. This role is key to integral tech initiatives, designing how humans and AI engineer together, creating a model for the future of software development.
