Director, Engineering - Marketplace & Dev Ecosystem

Engineering Leadership and Team Development:

• Mentor and coach Engineering Managers, Staff Engineers, and Tech Leads to foster technical excellence and ownership.
• Lead performance reviews, define career development paths, and build resilient teams for high-traffic APIs and financial systems.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Translate business objectives into scalable engineering roadmaps for the marketplace and developer ecosystem.
• Manage hundreds of integrations and thousands of developer applications with agile delivery and rigorous security standards.

Architecture and Technical Oversight:

• Oversee public API architecture including versioning, backward compatibility, scalability, and high availability.
• Guide monetization infrastructure such as automated payouts and usage-based billing while maintaining high engineering standards.

Business Strategy and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with Product and business stakeholders to define strategy for the app marketplace and partner program.
• Design extensible integration architectures supporting platforms like Google, Meta, and Slack, plus custom solutions.
