Job Description

The intern will assist with developing Alliance materials, learning about and researching emerging public health topics, capturing lessons from meetings, and coordinating meetings. They will also handle logistics for the 2025 Policy Action Institute and develop newsletters or other communications materials. The intern will maintain the resource library navigator PHERN and map by conducting research to identify items to include in our library of public health, equity and preparedness or COVID-19 resources and helping to determine how best to display information and resources. They will provide information about areas of interest to Alliance members, stakeholders and the broader field and contribute to grant funded project activities including, but not limited to, policy scans, webinars, best practices guides, and focus groups. All APHA interns also work on the Association’s Get Ready campaign, writing blog posts and working on group projects each semester.
