Senior Backend Infrastructure Engineer, L2

Flashbots is searching for senior backend infrastructure engineers to join our growing L2 team. In this role, you'll lead or support development of high-performance backend infrastructure for rollups, including block builders, sequencers, and decentralized execution environments powered by TEE technology. You will also own key infrastructure components across CI/CD, observability, automation, and runtime performance tooling that support our production systems serving millions of users.

Collaborating closely with protocol, research, and backend teams to design infrastructure that balances fast UX with decentralization goals and censorship resistance. Debugging production systems at the OS, network, or runtime level and drive reliability improvements across the stack to maintain industry-leading uptime standards. Contributing to and lead open-source infrastructure projects that advance the MEV ecosystem and blockchain scalability is also a component of the role.
