About the Role:
- This is a mid-level Cloud Security Engineer role focused on protecting the Tripadvisor Experiences platform.
- You will blend proactive security engineering with reactive incident response in a remote-friendly environment.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts from AWS infrastructure and application logs.
- Respond to incidents like data breaches or application-layer attacks and triage bug bounty reports.
- Build automated security monitoring and configure tools like WAF, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on AWS security operations experience with services like GuardDuty, Security Hub, and WAF.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and scripting with Python or Go.
- Strong understanding of the incident response lifecycle and common web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
