Principal Product Manager

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on product management, overseeing the product vision, roadmap, and execution across all components of Docker Desktop—including Docker Engine, Docker Compose, Build, Model Runner, Testcontainers, Kubernetes integration, and more. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless, powerful experience for millions of developers worldwide. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution. A deep understanding of developer workflows, containerization, and cross-platform desktop applications is essential. Responsibilities include defining and driving the product vision, engaging with customers, collaborating with engineering and design, analyzing product performance, staying abreast of industry trends, and communicating product plans. Initial expectations are onboarding with Docker’s mission, refining product vision, initiating user research, and achieving significant milestones in product development.
