Scientific Underpinnings - DNP Program (remote/part-time)

Qualifications:

• MSN and DNP or PhD in Nursing required, with an active compact/multi-state RN license.
• 2+ years experience teaching online graduate-level didactic courses, with preference for graduate leadership instruction.
• Must hold an Illinois RN license for course teaching, possess subject expertise, and demonstrate excellent written communication and motivational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and updates course materials using technological options like websites and online discussions for accessibility.
• Sets clear expectations by publishing objectives and evaluation schedules, ensuring exam material corresponds to terminal goals.
• Provides timely feedback, grades consistently, and complies with all institutional policies and standards.

Additional Information:

• Position is 100% online teaching as a Visiting Professor, offering flexible course-by-course commitment primarily for industry professionals.
• Compensation ranges from $715 to $1,950 per earned credit hour, adjusted based on education, experience, and other job-related factors.
