Job Description
As a Medical Records Specialist at PHM you’ll work closely with the Medical Records team collecting, processing, and maintaining medical records for our client cases. You’ll work directly with physicians’ offices and hospitals to help them understand the why behind the urgency and necessity of delivering the records. You'll coordinate and oversee the collection and administration of medical records and related information from doctors’ offices, hospitals, and facilities.
You will think creatively to prevent and mitigate case delays and influence external entities to secure medical records and files, compile, process and maintain medical records efficiently and consistent with medical administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements.You will also collaborate consistently with clinical staff to facilitate and expedite cases and expertly navigate proprietary and generic technology solutions.
