Public Relations Team Lead Intern

The Public Relations Team Lead will contribute to ONC’s mission of providing nonpartisan news, opinions, and policy solutions by leading a team of 4-5 public relations interns and ensuring ONC’s brand voice is carried out throughout all materials. The Public Relations Team Lead will delegate tasks to interns within the department, assigning responsibilities based on their strengths and expertise. They will provide guidance and support to interns, ensuring they have the necessary resources and assistance to excel in their roles. This team lead will spearhead our college newspaper network not limited to, but including networking, managing the contact list, connecting members of the network to various teams throughout our department for collaboration such as the podcast or journalism team. The Public Relations Team Lead may also partner with the Director of Marketing, COO and CEO to help with the creation and distribution of press releases. They may also brainstorm and create concepts for marketing our organization. Applicants must be comfortable coordinating in a remote environment and are expected to maintain a high level of communication.
