Engineering Manager- Ceph & Distributed Storage

Role Expectations:

• Lead a team developing a Ceph-focused software-defined storage solution for enterprise and edge environments.
• Build, manage, and develop a globally distributed engineering team through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and career development.
• Provide strong technical leadership while contributing directly to engineering objectives and demonstrating sound software engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Professional software engineering background, with experience in Python and/or C++; strong Python experience is particularly relevant.
• Hands-on experience operating scale-out storage clusters on Linux in production environments, ideally with Ceph.
• Knowledge of Linux storage subsystems, filesystems, distributed storage, and network storage technologies.
