Job Description
The UI Designer and Developer will work in the Software Engineering team to create User Interfaces for the planning and operation of the Telesat Lightspeed system. Main responsibilities include developing in-depth knowledge of application requirements, software architecture, and design specifications. Actively participate in the development and review of system requirements to obtain a thorough understanding of user needs. Advise on User Experience design and User Interface development practices and tools.
Additional responsibilities include providing development activities level of effort and duration estimates for planning and scheduling, creating wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes, developing UI source code following established company standards and development guidelines, and conducting interface usability assessment, quality assurance, and debugging support.
