Responsibilities:
- Select and edit New York Times photos for distribution to a global audience.
- Prioritize breaking news and features, exercising strong news judgment.
- Write concise captions.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a photo editor.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related subject.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong news judgment and a deep understanding of current world events.
- Experience working on multiple projects, on multiple deadlines.
- Strong copy-editing skills and knowledge of AP style.
