Role Purpose:
- Be strong in both the 'Dev' and 'Ops' aspects of DevOps.
- Have a deep understanding of systems architecture and core computer science concepts.
- Be able to reason about system behavior.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions for secure, highly available, performant, and scalable services.
- Innovate solutions to operational challenges with a direct business impact.
- Lead technical projects and ensure project-level deliveries.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional DevOps / Infrastructure management experience, with 5+ years in AWS.
- Strong foundation in operating systems, networking, distributed systems, and systems architecture.
- Proficiency with observability concepts (logs, metrics, tracing)
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience as a senior developer or application architect.
- Experience in cloud cost optimization and exposure to FinOps concepts.
- Experience working in compliance-regulated environments.
