Senior Epidemiologist

The Senior Epidemiologist will oversee the work of technical team members and field activities in Tanzania as well as serve as an advisor on monitoring and evaluation design, methods and analysis. The combined skills and experience are essential to ensure the strategic objectives of the project are met. Responsibilities include serving as a recognized expert in maternal health program evaluation, advising on study planning, leading technical teams, analyzing study implementation, reviewing literature, preparing scientific articles, leading field activities, providing thought leadership, and participating in project-related meetings. The role requires a Master’s or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field, along with relevant experience in public health, data analysis, and epidemiologic research.
