Job Description
The Onboarding & Engagement Specialist ensures new students at Ohio Digital Learning School (ODLS) have a successful start. Focusing on the first two weeks of each student’s onboarding, the role provides proactive support, guidance, and engagement to help students and families acclimate to the school’s online learning environment. The specialist supports year-round student engagement initiatives and assists with re-registration campaigns to promote retention and connection with the school community.
Key responsibilities include welcoming new students, guiding them through orientation, tracking progress, providing technical support, and collaborating with staff to address concerns. The role also involves planning virtual events, identifying at-risk students, maintaining records, and assisting with re-registration by contacting families and providing guidance.
