AI Research Engineer

As an AI Research Engineer at Phaidra, you will be responsible for building robust ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment of control algorithms. You will work with researchers to implement cutting-edge methods in Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning, and collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into real-time systems. You will design tools and infrastructure to support large-scale experimentation and iteration, and perform rigorous evaluations on simulation and real-world data, tuning models for safety, performance, and robustness. Supporting reproducibility and code quality across the team is important. Phaidra is thoughtful about remote collaboration, practices asynchronous communication, and holds virtual team events.
