Visiting Faculty - English Department

The Visiting Faculty role involves teaching developmental writing, first-year writing, and/or ELL writing classes. These courses are assigned on a per-course basis during the Fall Semester 2025. Instruction may be delivered face-to-face or online, depending on the University's needs and is limited to specific states. Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in English or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in English, along with a minimum of two years of teaching experience. Consideration will be given to candidates with experience teaching writing to diverse learners and teaching writing online. Candidates with a TESOL/TEFL certification are also encouraged to apply.
