Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate core networking services for Docker's Sandboxes platform.
- Build scalable networking infrastructure for microVM orchestration and workload lifecycle.
- Ensure network reliability, observability, and performance across the infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in building large-scale cloud or distributed systems with networking focus.
- Experience with microservices, container networking, service mesh, and orchestration.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and scalability patterns.
What to Expect:
- First 30 days: Onboard, deep-dive into Sandbox architecture, identify leverage opportunities.
- First 90 days: Develop technical roadmap, provide leadership, establish technical standards.
- One-year outlook: Drive simplification, establish engineering practices, nurture team confidence.
