Data Use for Decision Science:
- Support the implementation of epidemic intelligence activities that inform decision-making, including development of innovative data use products.
- Provide hands-on technical accompaniment, capacity building, and knowledge transfer to in-country embedded teams.
- Train teams on digital tools such as DHIS2, R, and R Markdown for data management and analytics.
Country Coordination:
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop country workplans and budgets for Collaborative Surveillance.
- Collaborate with global and country-level partners to streamline and align initiatives.
- Provide technical oversight to evaluate the impact of surveillance initiatives.
Strategic Innovation:
- Lead consultative work to investigate use cases for surveillance innovations like wastewater and genomic surveillance.
- Collaborate with epidemic intelligence team to pioneer innovations in data use, including AI and novel analytical methods.
- Synthesize multi-country learnings into strategic dissemination products for the global health community.
