Senior Procurement Specialist

Parsons is seeking a talented Senior Procurement Specialist to become a member of our team! Participates in a wide variety of more-complex procurement functions to ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness of services provided to clients and project personnel. Manages life-cycle acquisitions for material (including via Corporate Purchasing Card (P-card) purchasing), charters, equipment rentals, professional services, and Davis Bacon construction. All purchasing activities must be managed and documented in compliance with corporate and federal regulations. Sources and establishes subcontractors / vendors. Performs due diligence to qualify and establish them for eligibility to provide material or services. Prepares bidders lists, issues Request for Quotations or Request for Proposals, receives and analyzes bids, ensures completeness of bid packages, prepares bid analysis summaries, and makes recommendations for purchase order / subcontract awards. Serves as primary point of contact with vendors to ensure equipment and materials are delivered to job sites in support of construction schedules, and follows up on assigned purchase orders to ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
