What You’ll Do:
- Design and analyze balance-of-plant systems including turbine-generator, condenser, and feedwater heaters.
- Develop and optimize thermal cycle and heat balance to maximize efficiency across operating conditions.
- Size and specify BOP equipment, define system requirements, and coordinate integration with shipboard constraints.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience designing or analyzing power conversion or balance-of-plant systems.
- Proficiency with heat balance and thermal cycle modeling tools and strong grounding in thermodynamics and rotating equipment.
