Responsibilities:
- Suggest, develop, and maintain analysis tools for operational measurements, financial costs, SLA compliance, and budget execution, ensuring transportation contracts are up to date.
- Provide support to buyers, product managers, and customer service teams on cost-saving transportation practices and analyze data for compliance and improvements.
- Create and distribute reports on logistics performance from cost and efficiency perspectives, building dashboards for KPIs like cost per shipment and carrier performance.
Analytics and Initiatives:
- Conduct network analysis to support distribution strategies and capacity planning, leading initiatives to reduce shipping costs across parcel, LTL, and full truckload without service compromise.
- Monitor provider invoices to ensure timely payments according to contract terms and work with locations to follow proper claims processes and procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication between DC and transportation teams to report logistics costs, service standards, and transport plans throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications and Support:
- Require a minimum of 5 years of transportation experience, with preference for TMS knowledge like SAP TMS, and strong skills in Microsoft products and data analysis.
- Emphasize strong communication skills for presenting insights to senior leadership and a detail-oriented, continuous improvement mindset.
