Job Description
The focus is to develop and deliver innovative customer-centric technologies and solutions that facilitate OPM operation and maintenance (O&M) and Modernization support for legacy and new applications in a production environment. Support the development and work with government business/mission clients to ensure changes/bugs identified in the production systems are fixed, verified, and tested in lower environments (development, test, and staging).
DFS integration using Legacy programming languages such as COBOL, NATURAL, Visual Basics 6 and .NET. Resources skilled in Legacy programming languages will efficiently support DFS as needed to complete system development and integration while ensuring current resources supporting Legacy systems in operations and maintenance mode are not burdened with supporting integration between DFS and legacy systems.
The candidate participates and effectively contributes to the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. Provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. Review existing architecture and suggest/implement ways to fine-tune the application. Based on the business initiatives may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to the initiative.
