Associate Data Center Engineer (Remote)

As an Associate Data Center Engineer with a focus on Technology Estimation, you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates across various low-voltage and IT infrastructure scopes, including telecommunications, wireless networks, IT systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Electric Power Management Systems (EPMS). Travel required up to 40% for site surveys. Other responsibilities include: Develop detailed cost estimates based on RFP requirements, construction drawings, and site survey data Interpret and analyze plans and specifications for telecom, wireless, IT infrastructure, BMS, and EPM systems Perform quantity take-offs and provide labor/material pricing for structured cabling, network systems, wireless access points, routers/switches, control systems, and related technologies Collaborate with sales, engineering, project management, and vendors to ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of bids Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals for compliance and pricing alignment Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and post-bid clarifications when necessary Maintain and update unit cost databases, labor productivity factors, and vendor pricing information Support seamless project handoff by providing accurate scope documentation to project management teams for awarded work Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts Other duties as assigned
