Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsible for assisting the development team in the implementation, maintenance, evaluation, infrastructure automation, always ensuring the quality, performance and optimization of the infrastructure. Assist the development team with automated deployments, monitoring, response and support to incidents or other related events. In addition, it provides support and guidance to other people on your work team in any other task related to the position.

Roles, Responsibilities and key functions include analysis and design of data storage, processing, transmission needs, infrastructure architecture, and deployment processes for CI/CD. Implementation and maintenance involve addressing infrastructure needs, staying updated with industry practices, and ensuring continuous improvement. Quality assurance includes running tests, automating tasks, and assessing compliance with best practices. Delivery and documentation require defining processes for infrastructure management and supporting IT departments through documentation. Coordination involves collaborating on project requirements, coordinating infrastructure implementation, and managing change requests.

Qualifications require administration of Unix/Linux, virtualization, infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, infrastructure monitoring, logs management, incident management, environment configuration, scripting, backups, web server management, proxies, repositories, and documentation. Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, Docker, AWS or Azure/GCP, New Relic, Grafana, and ELK Stack is crucial. Additional knowledge in operating systems, security practices, networking, and scripting languages like Bash, YAML, and JSON is beneficial.
