Job Purpose:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in quality control to multiple cement plant sites within a designated region.
  • Based remotely, you will collaborate closely with plant teams to establish and maintain quality control measures and drive continuous improvement.
  • Occasional travel to plant sites will be required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support plants to implement quality control measures, develop procedures, and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and optimize quality testing processes, perform lab tests, analyze results, and communicate findings to plant teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with focus on clinker incorporation and reduced CO2 footprint, and conduct root cause analysis for quality deviations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with minimum 8 years of quality management experience in the cement industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality principles, SPC, data analysis tools, and familiarity with ISO 9001 and cement manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills to work effectively in a remote support role.
