Summary:
- The Director of Medical Affairs provides strategic scientific leadership for DefEYE's regenerative eyecare and tear-based diagnostics portfolio.
- This role will establish and lead the Medical Affairs department, acting as an internal and external medical expert.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Medical Affairs strategic plan and identify evidence gaps.
- Oversee company-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical studies.
- Lead Medical Affairs participation at scientific meetings and congresses.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, OD, or PhD in a biomedical discipline with at least 10 years of experience in eyecare or biotechnology.
- Demonstrated expertise in ocular surface disease and strong scientific writing and presentation skills.
- Experience leading clinical evidence-generation initiatives and managing teams.
