Job Description
As a Data Project Manager, you will lead all Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. You will also serve as a servant leader and coach to ensure Agile best practices are effectively implemented across the team and Use JIRA and Confluence to manage and visualize work, ensuring accurate tracking of epics, user stories, tasks, and bugs.
Partnering with Product Owners and technical leads to manage a well-prioritized backlog aligned with business goals you will capture requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into working specifications for engineers. You will also proactively identify blockers and ensure the team is focused, supported, and working effectively toward sprint commitments.
This role requires understanding technical dependencies in pipelines written in Python/pySpark and SQL, and supporting teams building within Databricks, dbt, Azure resources, and related services.
