Duties:
- Review and process payments to assigned accounts, including expenses and revenue.
- Ensure timely invoice payments adhering to Comptroller directives and City policies.
- Perform monthly and year-end accounting closing procedures per NYC directives.
Responsibilities:
- Apply appropriate FMS approvals (L3/5) to payment vouchers.
- Resolve payment issues with vendors, DOF divisions, and stakeholders.
- Prepare journal vouchers and technical accounting documents in FMS.
Additional Tasks:
- Oversee Agency Out of Town Travel and FMS Security Officer systems.
- Conduct other duties and projects as assigned within the Financial Services Unit.
- Maintain exemplary professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
