Afar is seeking a Senior Editor to join its digital editorial team. This role involves top editing diverse digital travel content, including inspiration stories, intel, longreads, and quick hits. The Senior Editor will line edit and top edit several stories daily, write headlines and display content, and develop story packages. Idea development, article assignment, and cultivating relationships with freelance writers are also key responsibilities. The role requires attending industry events and meetings. The position is fully remote but must be based in New York.
