Staff Systems Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles

Role Overview:

• As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will be the technical owner for how new features and system changes appear on the guideway.
• You will design, create requirements, and demonstrate novel features for the public transit system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own feature landing for GATN: design, plan, and execute integration of new capabilities on the track.
• Define and run integration scenarios for safety, throughput, and operational workflows across vehicles, wayside, and dispatch.
• Improve regression and mileage test suites to gate releases.

Ideal Characteristics:

• Can turn ambiguity into clarity and drive vague questions into concrete requirements.
• Has shipped products and brings cross-functional depth in mechanical, electrical, embedded, or software design.
• Raises the bar for rigor in requirements traceability, verification planning, and safety analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4-10+ years of experience.
• 1+ years in systems integration and test for complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience planning and executing integration or system-level test campaigns.
