Registered Nurse (RN) - General Ambulatory Services, Remote, Nights

The Overnight RN – Nurse Triage provides high-quality, patient-centered care through telephone triage and clinical assessment. This role assesses symptoms, prioritizes patient needs, and determines appropriate care or follow-up. They provide patient education, guidance, and reassurance as appropriate and accurately document all patient encounters in Epic EMR in real time. They escalate urgent or emergent situations per clinic and organizational policies and communicate effectively with on-call providers, clinic teams, and patients to ensure continuity of care, contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction within the triage team.

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide evidence-based care and to continuously monitor and evaluate practice to ensure safe passage of patients that is in the best interest of populations served. It is expected that they will manage interpersonal relationships for self and with others and mentor colleagues for the advancement of nursing practice and the profession. A qualified candidate will actively seek feedback and acts to improve performance.
