Counsel

Prepared is seeking a mission-driven, high-agency Counsel to join as the company’s first full-time legal hire. In this foundational role, you’ll take ownership of our legal operations, support commercial growth, and help reduce legal risk across labor, compliance, data privacy, and contracting. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, bring clarity to complex legal questions, and shape the future of Prepared’s legal function from the ground up. You will own day-to-day legal operations, lead contract reviews, and identify legal and regulatory gaps. You'll also improve organizational legal hygiene and partner across teams to stay grounded in empathy and sound judgment.
