Your Role:

  • Represent Surefire Cyber as a skilled technical forensic and consulting expert during active incident response engagements.
  • Lead forensically guided engagements and prioritize competing priorities effectively.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed to maintain continuous coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced forensic analysis to identify scope and impact of security incidents, including malware analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Mentor and provide career development for a forensic team of 3-4 consultants.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to refine incident response processes.

Your Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response, with client-facing roles and independent investigation management.
  • Proficiency in tools like ELK, Axiom, EnCase, FTK, and network analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
