Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

• Ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of software products throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to validate features and identify issues.
• Combine manual and automated testing responsibilities within a remote-first and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
• Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke testing.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using modern QA frameworks and tools.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution while collaborating with development teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and software quality principles.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience using issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control workflows.
• Exposure to SaaS, cloud-based applications, or digital products.
